Connecticut Children’s Practice Quality Improvement Program was originally named Connecticut Children’s MOC Program in May 2013 when Connecticut Children’s became an MOC Part 4 portfolio sponsor approved by the ABP. The Connecticut Children's Practice Quality Improvement Program supports pediatricians in improving the quality of care they deliver to patients, while conducting continuous quality improvement, earning MOC Part 4 credits, AMA PRA Category 1 credits™, and/or seeking NCQA Medical Home recognition.
The Program bridges quality improvement initiatives from our organization to the practicing pediatric community, as many of our approved QI/MOC projects are open to physicians not directly affiliated with Connecticut Children’s. By improving the quality of pediatric health care services, we address major health issues that compromise children’s healthy development and place an undue burden on families, communities, and the health care system.
The Connecticut Children’s Practice Quality Improvement Program bridges the Medical Center to community pediatricians by engaging them in QI projects that lead to sustained improvements in the delivery of care.
